In addition to supplying new equipment we also offer the decommissioning, safe removal and disposal of refrigeration equipment in accordance with the Governments Hazardous Waste regulations.
It is now illegal to remove or to cause the release of CFC Refrigeration gases into the environment. This work must be carried out by a qualified engineer who must use approved equipment to do so. It is also illegal to recharge or top up systems containing CFC gases. If this was needed on such a system, it would require the system to be totally recharged with a safer type of refrigeration gas. Our engineers are both equipped and fully qualified for the removal of CFC gases. We can also alter the type of gas your existing system currently uses to a safer, alternative gas that does not contain CFC's.
